Hi, I’m Ashley Elizabeth

Sacred Sober Companion | Integration Guide | Founder of Beyond Sobriety
Spiritual + Somatic Sober Support for High-Impact Healing

For years, I silently struggled with alcohol and substance use. On the outside, I appeared high-functioning and accomplished. But on the inside, I was disconnected, exhausted, and stuck in a state of denial.

A DUI in 2019 was the catalyst that set me on the path I had long resisted, and though it was painful, it became the wake-up call I needed. It opened the door to the inner work I had long avoided and cracked open the parts of me that had been quietly asking for healing all along.

I got sober in 2020, and since then, my journey has led me to not only heal myself but to support others as they heal too.

I’m a trauma-informed sober companion and integration guide, blending science, spirit, and soul to support people in early recovery as they cross emotionally intense life thresholds.

I hold a Master’s degree in Behavioral Psychology and began my professional journey as a Special Education teacher in California. But after facing my own addiction, burnout, and spiritual disconnection, I followed a deeper calling.

I moved to Costa Rica, where I immersed myself in retreat work, somatic healing, and sacred ceremonies. It was there that I remembered who I truly was—and why I’m here.

Today, through Beyond Sobriety, I offer a deeply personal, spiritually grounded approach to recovery support for individuals craving more than just sobriety—they’re ready for wholeness, clarity, and transformation.

My work blends:

  • Trauma-informed care rooted in behavioral science

  • Nervous system regulation and somatic healing practices

  • Sacred rituals such as ceremonial bathing, breathwork, and nature immersion

  • Spiritual mentorship to help rebuild identity and purpose

  • Integration support after retreats, treatment, or psychedelic experiences

Whether it's through morning rituals, somatic support, or soulful conversation, I serve as a bridge between who you were and who you are becoming. Sobriety, for me, isn’t just about letting go—it’s the path that leads back to yourself.
